In this section of our free web design course, we're first going to learn how to make our text bold by using the <b> and </b> tags, italicise it by using the <i> and </i> tags or underline it by using the <u> and </u> tags. Let's apply them all:

Now let's make our text a bit more complicated by mixing these formats:
Which would produce this output:
So, you can make a text bold, italic and underline at the same time. Note that instead of the <b> tag, you can use the <strong> tag; and instead of the <i> tag you can also use the <em> tag.
